The City of Excelsior retained Parenteau Graves in to guide a process to define a shared community vision for The Commons, the 13-acre municipal park located in the heart of Excelsior. Working with community and city leaders, Parenteau Graves designed informational materials and a process to gain widespread community input through surveys and focus groups. From input from several hundred people, Parenteau Graves delivered a report that clearly articulated the community’s priorities, guiding principles for the park’s design, and final recommendations for next steps.
